When you can’t wait for your regular vet but don’t require the ER, we provide the care you need. Give us a call for those urgent cases that don’t fall squarely into regular practice hours or in the life-threatening category.
What is URGENT CARE?
Bedford Pet Urgent Care provides veterinary care for non-emergent illness and injuries, just like human urgent care. We are here to provide immediate relief for many pet urgent issues such as:
Abscesses
Allergies
Anal-gland scooting, licking
Back pain
Bite wounds
Constipation
Coughing
Decreased appetite
Dehydration
Diarrhea
Ear infections
End-of-life care (euthanasia)
Eye squinting, discharge
Fever
Fracture assessment
Hiding, not feeling well
Hives/swelling/reactions
Lacerations
Lethargy
Limping, lameness
Nasal Discharge

What we DO
We’re here nights and weekends providing convenient walk-in and appointment service for you and your pet. We treat cases that require immediate attention – but aren’t serious enough to require emergency hospitalization. In most cases, Bedford Pet Urgent Care can diagnose and treat your pet’s problem in less than an hour.
What We DO NOT DO
We can’t keep your pet for overnight stays, and we’re not equipped to handle cases that require hospitalization or surgical care. If we diagnose a serious condition, we’ll discuss other options with you, including the possible need for an immediate transfer to a 24-hour emergency hospital. We also don't provide routine wellness exams or vaccinations.
WHY we DO it
Bedford Pet Urgent Care was founded to fill the gap between your regular veterinarian and a veterinary ER. When your pet has a mild illness or minor injury, we’ll provide the care your pet needs and the affordability and convenience you want.
